- Prep the Ingredients:
- Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets and julienne or thinly slice the carrots.
- Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
- Make the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well combined. Set aside.
- Stir Fry the Chicken and Vegetables:
- Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken strips to the skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and stir fry for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.

- Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet with the vegetables.

- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the stir fry with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
