  1. Prep the Ingredients:
    • Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets and julienne or thinly slice the carrots.
    • Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well combined. Set aside.
  3. Stir Fry the Chicken and Vegetables:
    • Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add the seasoned chicken strips to the skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
    • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and stir fry for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
    • Add the broccoli florets and julienned carrots to the skillet and stir fry for 4-5 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.
  4. Combine Chicken, Vegetables, and Sauce:
    • Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet with the vegetables.
    • Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables in the skillet, stirring to coat everything evenly.
    • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the stir fry with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
    • Serve the Quick Chicken with Broccoli and Carrot Stir Fry hot over cooked rice or noodles, and enjoy!
