I prepare these delightful treats at least eight times a year because they are both delicious and simple to make. I can almost taste them now!
Step back in time to the sunny, aromatic kitchens of yesteryear with Strawberry Dumplings, a recipe that captures the resourceful and heartfelt cooking of our rural Midwest ancestors. Encased in tender crescent rolls, these delightful treats serve as a tribute to simpler times, where each piece of dough and ripe berry was valued. Easier to make than a pie but equally satisfying, they are perfect for strawberry season or whenever you desire a touch of simplicity and sweetness.
