Step 2: Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crumbled sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese (if using). Stir until well blended.

Step 4: Roll Out the Dough

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.

Step 5: Fill and Roll

Place a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling inside. Place on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Step 6: Apply Egg Wash and Topping
