– For a lighter version, swap out the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt.
– If cotija cheese is hard to come by, grated Parmesan or feta cheese can serve as a suitable substitute.
– Want more heat? Add a finely diced jalapeño to the mayo mixture or sprinkle with a little cayenne pepper.
– Not a fan of cilantro? Fresh chives or parsley can be a fine alternative.
