PREPARATION:
1st Step
Start by dicing the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into small segments. This ensures uniform cooking and allows flavors to permeate each bite.
2nd Step
Combine the low-sodium soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a mixing basin. This is the foundation of the fragrant and opulent teriyaki sauce.
3rd Step
Place chicken pieces in the slow cooker. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, coating each piece thoroughly. Marinate the poultry for at least thirty minutes. Consider marinating overnight in the refrigerator to intensify flavor even further.
This recipe is now my absolute favorite breakfast and can also be taken on the go.
