PREPARATION:
1st Step
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Continue to cook until it’s browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
2nd Step
Return the drained beef to the skillet and add the finely chopped onions. Cook for a few minutes until the onions become translucent and fragrant.
3rd Step
In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Pour this sauce mixture over the cooked beef and onions.
4th Step
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until most of the liquid has evaporated, and the sauce has thickened. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
5th Step
While the Maid-Rite filling is simmering, prepare your slider buns. Split them in half and lightly toast them if desired.
6th Step
Spread a thin layer of mustard on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a generous spoonful of the Maid-Rite filling. Add a few slices of pickles and onions.
7th Step
Place the top half of the slider bun on each sandwich, and your Maid-Rite Sliders are ready to be devoured. Serve them with your favorite sides, like coleslaw, potato chips, or french fries
