After the bread has finished baking, take the pans from the oven and allow them to cool with the bread still inside for around ten to fifteen minutes. After that, take the bread from the pans with care and place it on a wire rack to finish cooling down entirely.
RECIPE NOTES:
If you don’t have any buttermilk on hand, you can quickly manufacture a replacement for it by combining two tablespoons of vinegar with two cups of milk and letting the mixture rest for a few minutes until it curdles. This is an easy way to produce buttermilk when you don’t have any.
Storing: If you want the bread to stay moist, store it in a container that won’t let air in or cover it in plastic wrap before putting it away. Additionally, it may be frozen to extend its shelf life even further.
You may change the texture and taste of the batter by using chopped nuts, raisins, or even chocolate chips in the mix. These additions are all good options.
