Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil.
- Add flour and stir quickly until the dough forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the saucepan.
- Remove from heat and let the dough cool for 5 minutes.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until the dough is smooth and shiny.
- Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
- Remove from the oven and let the puffs cool completely.
- To make the whipped cream filling, beat heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the top off of each puff and fill with whipped cream.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!
