PREPARATION METHOD:
1st Step
To make the seasoning, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Coat the beef tips in the flour mixture well by tossing them in the pan.
2nd Step
In a pan, melt the vegetable oil over moderate heat. Sear the beef tips until browned on both sides, adding them to the pan in batches after coating. The taste and fluids are preserved by this process. Place the meat skewers into the slow cooker after searing.
3rd Step
Throw some chopped onion and minced garlic into the pan as well. The onion and garlic should be cooked until they become transparent and aromatic. Combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, tomato paste, dried thyme, and bay leaf in a large mixing bowl. Combine everything by stirring vigorously and scraping the browned pieces from the bottom of the pan.
4th Step
Carefully add the sauce to the slow cooker with the meat tips. Make sure the steak is evenly covered with the sauce by giving it a little swirl. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the meat is cooked and easily breaks apart, covered with the slow cooker lid.
5th Step
Remove and discard the bay leaf from the slow cooker during the final 30 minutes of cooking time. In a small mixing basin, combine the cold water and cornstarch until smooth. Stir the cornstarch mixture well into the slow cooker. The sauce may be made thicker in this way.
6th Step
Cover the slow cooker and simmer for another 30 minutes on low heat, or until the sauce has thickened to your liking.
7th Step
When the beef tips are done, take them from the slow cooker and place them on a serving dish. Serve the beef tips with the thickened sauce and garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
ENJOY IT!!
