Preparation: Clean your chicken wings and pat them dry. Arrange them in your crockpot.
Sauce it up: In a separate bowl, mix together your BBQ sauce and honey. Once they’re well combined, pour this mixture over the wings in the crockpot. Make sure all the wings are coated evenly.
Slow Cook: Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Your house will be filled with a tantalizing aroma as the wings slowly cook to perfection.
Finish and Serve: Once cooked, you can serve them straight from the pot, or for an extra touch, place the wings on a baking sheet and broil them for a few minutes for an added crispiness.
My grandmother used to prepare this remedy for me whenever I wasn’t feeling well. Even now, I proactively make this blend and store it for later use.
